Part of Primavera Sound’s VIP area overlooking the Beck’s stage gave way during Travis Scott’s performance.
“People jumped a lot and part of the structure broke,” said one of the firefighters cordoning off the area. The incident left no one injured, the professional said.
Part of the VIP area was closed to the public due to fire brigade security measures.
Splash contacted festival organizers who said: “A small 1.5m x 1.5m area in the VIP area was damaged and cordoned off immediately without incident. The VIP area and festival will continue as normal.”
Travis Scott conducted the second night of performances by Primavera Sound. Singer Charli XCX also closes the evening on Beck’s stage.
