Rio Simony took to social media this Friday to reflect on beauty and selflove. Taking to Instagram, the singer who is still undergoing treatment after being diagnosed with colon cancer posted a photo of herself in a plunging pink dress and took the opportunity to write about how kind she is to herself .
“Stop everything you’re doing, write a letter to yourself and thank yourself for everything, even the mistakes. Praise yourself, say how beautiful you are even when you are going through difficulties. How much of a warrior you are, with hair without hair you are still beautiful,” the artist began in the caption of the post. “Love yourself dearly, do you know why? Nothing has changed and we will take everything out of control. Do Go on! It all worked out,” Simony concluded.
Recently, the singer reassured fans of her recovery and return to work. “Little by little, getting my life back to normal, getting my work done… But I’m fine, yes, I eat so much, I’ve never eaten so much. It’s good for people who are going through chemotherapy, you need to eat well, because immunity is good for a short time […] I take some photos, do my publications, my stuff, get back to work. At the limit, of course, within the realm of possibility and day after day. That’s it,” Simony said at the time.
