The brothers will come out to the punch after the firstborn Antonio La SelvaTony Ramos Curse the stepmother when he learns that she gave her a piece of jewelry from her late mother Grace (Agatha Moreira).
“You are a son, you have to defend that. But look at the mother you have. She’s a gold digger,” says Caio.

Daniel loses the line by attacking Irene and pushes on his brother.

The confusion begins when Caio sees his mother’s earrings in Graça’s ear and demands that the young woman return the family jewel.
Graça is confused by her brotherinlaw’s aggressiveness and an argument ensues, which Daniel witnesses.
“Are you calling me a thief? The Irene that gave it to me,” argues the blonde.
“Irene is a bad thing. (…) She cannot give my mother’s things away. Give her back,” he rages.

Offended, Graça goes to the La Selva mansion to return the gift to Irene. Antonio’s wife searches for Gaius and says he humiliated her.
“Have I humiliated you, have I humiliated you? You were the one who messed with me. You gave the earrings to my mother,” the boy counters.

“I gave it but Graça gave it back, my face was on the ground. Now I’ll give it to the first beggar that comes before me,” the villain warns.
“You’re not going to do any of that. Irene, I have had to endure a lot. I’ve endured your scorn since I was a boy…but you don’t touch my mother’s memory,” he replies.

Caio says that Irene married her father out of interest and that her stepmother will never do justice to her mother.
Daniel defends his mother and Caio curses Irene.
The lawyer loses his temper, throws himself on the brother and they roll to the ground.
