Eagles agree to terms with DT Fletcher Cox, RB Boston Scott on one-year contracts

The feisty 5-foot-6, 203-pound Scott has been with the Eagles since he was signed from the New Orleans Saints practice team in 2018. Now that Scott is back in the lineup, the Eagles have four runners on the active roster – Scott, Kenneth Gainwell, Jason Huntley and Miles Sanders.

Here are five things you need to know about Scott’s return:

In the 2021 season, quarterback Jalen Herts shared how Scott wanted to work out with him during the offseason. Hurts said training starts at 5am. Guess who was there at 5am, ready to go?

2. The Zachary, Louisiana native starred at Louisiana Tech before being selected in the sixth round of the Saints in 2018. Scott, a former forward, rushed for 1,047 yards and threw nine touchdowns, earning All-Conference USA First Team honors in the process. older.

3. In 45 career games, all with the Eagles, Scott had 992 rushing yards, 499 receiving yards and 14 total touchdowns.
