The Philadelphia Eagles released their second official injury report Wednesday ahead of their Divisional Round playoff game against the New York Giants.
This was the Birds’ first proper practice this week after holding a walkthrough on Tuesday.
Two players DID NOT PARTICIPATE: Brandon Graham and Avonte Maddox.
Graham was listed as DNP due to illness on a day when he would have been restricted due to partial rest anyway. The happy veteran watched the training from the sidelines and seemed to be in his usual good mood. One could assume that he will be back in action tomorrow.
Maddox is on track to miss his third straight game in the last four weeks after suffering an injury in Dallas. The Eagles are likely to leave with CJ Gardner-Johnson as their slot cornerback while Reed Blankenship comes in to play safety in nickel packages.
Two players were listed under LIMITED ENTRY for reasons other than rest: Lane Johnson and Robert Quinn.
Johnson is suffering from a groin injury that will require surgery after the Eagles’ season ends. The good news is he seems to be fine? All in all at least:

Lane previously said today was a big day for him to find out just how effective he can be when playing through pain. That he was listed with an additional rest designation – as opposed to just “Bar” – is a positive sign that he will play. But it remains to be seen how long he will last in real gameplay.
That Quinn is listed with an additional break designation – as opposed to just “back” – also bodes well for his chances of the game. He expects to be part of the final defensive rotation on Saturday night. No better time for him to be promoted after a quiet regular season.
One player was listed under FULL PARTICIPATION: Linval Joseph.
Joseph was upgraded to full power after being listed as restricted on Tuesday. The experienced defensive tackle will play against the team that picked him with a second-round pick in the 2010 NFL Draft.
The Eagles will release their third and final injury report Thursday afternoon.

NEW YORK GIANTS INJURY REPORT (WEDNESDAY)
Starting cornerback Adoree’ Jackson was upgraded to full power after a restriction on Tuesday.
Rotational security Jason Pinnock has been upgraded from DNP to full. He told Giants Media he needed to play with extra padding.
Here’s what our enemies at Big Blue View had to say about New York’s second most sacked defenders on this year’s team:
Edge-back Azeez Ojulari, who is dealing with a quadriceps injury, told the media he was “sore” but wanted to play. How much he can play and how effectively remains to be seen.
Seems like it’s working at less than 100%.
The expectation here is that all of the Giants’ limited players will play Saturday night.
