Eagles-Packers Final Injury Report: AJ Brown is dealing with a bug

The Philadelphia Eagles released their third and final official injury report Friday ahead of their Week 12 Sunday Night Football game against the Green Bay Packers.

No players were listed with a game status. The Eagles’ entire 53-man roster fully participated in practice.

The only two players listed on the report (as full participants) were AJ Brown (illness) and Josh Jobe (hamstring).

Brown missed Thursday’s practice due to illness. The Eagles’ lead receiver told reporters he’s dealing with a bad stomach virus that kept him in bed on Thanksgiving. One would hope that Brown would be better by Sunday night.

Assuming he won’t be a healthy scrape, Jobe will play for the first time since Week 9. The UDFA was a special team contribution this season and didn’t just provide cornerback depth.

The Packers ruled rookie receiver Romeo Doubs OUT. As a reminder of how he ranks in several key categories:

  • 2nd among Packers WRs in snaps played (just behind Allen Lazard)
  • 3. in the goals
  • t-3rd gets touchdowns
  • 4. at receptions
  • 4. in yards

The Packers ruled that starting linebacker De’Vondre Campbell is DOUBT. The veteran was restricted on Friday after missing the previous two practice sessions.

The Packers decided that David Bakhtiari and special teams staffer Shemar Jean-Charles would start QUESTIFY. Barring an unexpected setback, Bakhtiari is a good bet.

The Packers are missing two key defensemen on injured reserve: Rashan Gary and Eric Stokes. Gary is leading the pack in sacks this year despite only playing nine games. Stokes is one of their beginning cornerbacks.
