Jones was a free agent and played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2022. The 34-year-old was limited to 10 games last year. He had 24 catches for 299 yards and two touchdowns.

The University of Alabama Crimson Tide product was one of the most exciting players in the NFL during his 10-year stint (2011-2020) with the Atlanta Falcons. This organization selected him with sixth place overall in the 2011 auction.

Between his time with the Georgia club and that in Florida, Jones played one season (2021) with the Tennessee Titans. He was also limited to just 10 games this year.

In his career, Jones handled 903 balls for 13,629 yards and 63 touchdowns. His return to the game made him the still active receiver who accumulated the most yards in the NFL.

The veteran could serve as quarterback Jalen Hurts’ third target for the Eagles, behind AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith. The Pennsylvania club recently placed Quez Watkins on the injured list.

The finalists of the last Super Bowl got off to a very good start to the season. They held a 5-1 record and lost 20-14 to the New York Jets last Sunday at MetLife Stadium. The Philadelphia team will look to return to victory this week against the Miami Dolphins. They will be at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday night.
