Eagles-Vikings Inactive – Bleeding Green Nation

The Philadelphia Eagles officially announced the inactive list for their 2022 NFL week two game against the Minnesota Vikings.

The following six Eagles players WILL NOT PLAY: Ian Book, Trey Sermon, Grant Calcaterra, Josh Sills, Janarius Robinson and Reed Blankenship.

There were no players with labels on the list The Eagles latest injury report So these guys are healthy scratches.

Those six players are identical to the Eagles’ Week 1 inactives…save for Robinson. That Eagles just removed him from the Vikings practice team early last week. Robinson is the new DE4, while Tarron Jackson is promoted to DE3 in the episode Derek Barnett’s ACL injury at the end of the season. Jackson makes his season debut tonight.

Among the other players, Calcaterra is the most notable. The Eagles elected to temporarily lift Noah Togiai from the practice team for the second straight week. The coaching staff seem to have more faith in Togiai at the moment… and/or value his ability to block.

The Eagles also lifted Britain Covey from the practice team. He will be active as her punt returner.
