EastEnders characters exit ‘Fight For Their Lives’ as massive fire rages in Walford in ‘explosive autumn scenes’
Some of EastEnders’ most beloved characters will reportedly fight for their lives in scenes airing this autumn.
The BBC soap has many “high-profile” events planned for the second half of this year, with viewers already waiting to find out who dies in the celebratory assassination attempt.
EastEnders made history in an episode back in February when they gave a sneak peek at a Christmas crime thriller.
The shocking scenes featured Denise (Diane Parish), Kathy (Gillian Taylforth), Linda (Kellie Bright), Sharon (Letitia Dean), Stacey (Lacey Turner) and Suki (Balvinder Sopal) surrounding a dead body, but the identity was not known. The identity of the body and the killer were kept secret.
And more drama awaits in Albert Square when a massive fire erupts along the street, destroying Kathy’s cafe.
Coming Soon: Some of EastEnders’ most popular characters are reportedly set to fight for their lives in scenes airing this autumn
A source told The Sun: “The bosses are keeping quiet about who is behind the attack and who is fighting for their lives, but viewers can expect plenty of drama as the story unfolds on screen and the residents of Walford along cope with the consequences.” of the event.
“These scenes were just filmed and they look incredible. They’re part of the explosive fall the show has planned.”
EastEnders fans are convinced it will be Ian Beale who dies this Christmas before the celebratory murder plot and epic crime thriller.
Ian – portrayed by Adam Woodyatt – is set to make a big return to the BBC soap opera this week as he arrives in Walford alongside his wife Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins).
Cindy shockingly awoke from the dead last month after 26 years when it was revealed she lives in France with her ex-husband Ian Beale and their son Peter.
It later emerged that Cindy had been in witness protection and given the alias Rose Knight for the past two decades and that she still hasn’t returned to Walford.
In another twist, she was revealed to be the absent wife of Queen Vic’s landlord, George Knight (Colin Salmon), and mother of their two daughters, Gina (Francesca Henry) and Anna (Molly Rainford).
Since then, fans have been puzzling over the identity of the body found on the floor of the Queen Vic on Christmas Day.
