EastEnders viewers are shocked as pregnant Lily Slater, 12, makes the life-changing decision to keep her baby in a major U-turn… as furious Martin finally finds out who the father is
EastEnders fans watched as Lily Slater made a dramatic about-face in Monday’s episode.
The 12-year-old is expecting a child with Ricky Jr. (Frankie Day) after losing her virginity to him late last year.
However, Lily, who previously vowed to have an abortion, has told her father Martin that she is keeping him – after he suspected Ricky is the father.

In the gripping scenes, Lily (Lillia Turner) confided in Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) that she had changed her mind as her abortion date neared.
“It didn’t seem real before today,” Lily explained before Kat told her to tell Stacey (Lacey Turner) how she was feeling.
“It’s your body, Lil. Your future. Your decision. Because you’re the one who has to live with it,” Kat told her.

Kat then confronted Stacey and Martin about pressuring Lily to terminate her pregnancy after he found out Ricky, 12, is the father.
Viewers watched as Martin lost his temper at Lily and yelled at her across the kitchen table, “I don’t care about Ricky.”
After the tense confrontation, she later made a determined approach to Stacey and Martin in the living room. She said, “I can’t get rid of it. I’m having my baby’.
Stacey then called to cancel the appointment.
Fans soon took to Twitter after watching the family drama.
One wrote: “OMG Lily has changed her mind. she wants her baby I hope she knows what she’s doing. She’s 12 and it’s a huge commitment’
Another added: “Martin lashed out at Lily. He should be supporting her and not hitting Lily. It makes things so much worse’.
A third viewer chimed in: “He shouldn’t have yelled at you like that.” He was just protecting me. That’s what parents should do, right? That’s why I can’t get rid of it. I’m having my baby.”

The BBC soap got off to an explosive start on New Year’s Day 2023, when Lily’s mum Stacey was left stunned when a doctor discovered her baby girl was pregnant after she rushed to the hospital amid the carbon dioxide leak.
And despite fans speculating who the father-to-be might be, EastEnders finally confirmed who he is.
In earlier scenes, Lily finally found out she was pregnant and mother Stacey broke down in tears as she broke the bombshell news.
While the young woman was alarmed to find out she was pregnant, she refused to reveal the father’s identity, leading a concerned Stacey to fear she had been nursed by an adult.
The youngster then goes on to confirm that the father is Ricky Junior – the 12-year-old son of Sam Mitchell and Jack Branning.
