First Reading (Ac 10, 34-43)
Reading from the Acts of the Apostles

In these days,
when Peter arrived in Caesarea
in a captain of the Roman army,
he spoke and said:
“You know what happened in all the land of the Jews,
from the beginnings in Galilee,
after the baptism announced by John:
jesus of nazareth,
God gave him the anointing of the Holy Spirit and power.
Wherever he went, he did good
and healed all who were under the power of the devil,
for God was with him.
And we are witnesses
from all that he did in the land of the Jews and in Jerusalem.
The one they oppressed by hanging him on the torture stick,
God raised him up on the third day.
He gave him to manifest
not for all people
but in witnesses whom God had previously chosen,
us who ate and drank with him
after his resurrection from the dead.
God has commissioned us to proclaim and bear witness to the people
that he himself made him judge of the living and the dead.
All the prophets testify to Jesus:
Anyone who believes in him
receives forgiveness of his sins through his name.

word of the Lord.

We thank God

Psalm 117
This is the day that the Lord has made
May it be a day of celebration and joy for us!

This is the day that the Lord has made
May it be a day of celebration and joy for us!

Thank the Lord: He is good!
Eternel is her love!
Yes, let Israel say:
Eternel is her love!

This is the day that the Lord has made
May it be a day of celebration and joy for us!

The arm of the Lord rises
the arm of the Lord is strong!
No, I won’t die, I will live
to announce the deeds of the Lord.

This is the day that the Lord has made
May it be a day of celebration and joy for us!

The stone that the builders rejected
has become the cornerstone:
This is the work of the Lord
the miracle before our eyes.

This is the day that the Lord has made
May it be a day of celebration and joy for us!

Second Reading (Philippians 3:1-4)
Reading of the Epistle of the Apostle Paul to the Colossians

Brothers,
if you are risen with Christ,
Seek the realities from above:
there is Christ seated at the right hand of God.
Think of the realities from above
not those of earth.

Verily, you have passed through death
and your life remains hidden with Christ in God.
When Christ appears, your life,
then you too will appear with him in glory.

word of the Lord.

We thank God

gospel acclamation

Gospel (John 20:1-9)
The Lord be with you.

And with your mind.

Gospel of Jesus Christ according to John

Glory to you Lord.

The first day of the week,
Marie Madeleine goes to the grave early in the morning;
it was still dark.
She notices that the stone has been removed from the tomb.
So she runs to find Simon Peter and the other disciple
whom Jesus loved
and she said to them:
“The Lord was taken out of his grave,
and we don’t know where it was dropped off. »
So Peter went with the other disciple
to get to the grave.
they both ran together
but the other disciple ran faster than Peter
and arrived at the tomb first.
As he leans forward, he notices that the sheets are lying flat;
however, he does not enter.
Simon-Pierre, who followed him, arrives for his part.
He enters the tomb;
he sees the clothes laid flat
as well as the shroud that encircled the head of Jesus,
not provided with bedding,
but rolled out in its place.
Then the other disciple entered
he who had arrived at the tomb first.
He saw and he believed.
Up until then the disciples really had not understood
that according to scripture
Jesus had to rise from the dead.

Let’s cheer the Word of God.

Praise be to you, Lord Jesus.

universal prayer
On this most holy day, let us ask the Almighty Father that the Easter feast of His only begotten Son Jesus Christ will bring grace and joy to the whole world.

So that those who were baptized that night and those who will receive the sacraments of the Church this year may live this new life to the fullest.

O risen Christ, hear us!

So that the church can live in unity and peace and serve the gospel.

O risen Christ, hear us!

So that the sick, prisoners, hungry, unemployed, people on the streets and the needy can be cared for, visited, fed, helped and comforted.

O risen Christ, hear us!

For families and especially for those who know the drama of separation, exile, grief and discord

O risen Christ, hear us!

For peace and an end to all wars, for heads of state and government around the world

O risen Christ, hear us!

So that all nations, peoples, communities, families live in harmony and love

O risen Christ, hear us!

God, who saves all people and does not want to lose anyone, hear the prayer of your people and give them the joy of being heard by Christ our Lord.

Amen.
