Six players skated Tuesday morning ahead of Junior Team Canada's first preseason game, meaning their spots are all but confirmed. Among them were two QMJHL players.

Defensemen Maveric Lamoureux and Tristan Luneau were among six players who skated, along with forwards Conor Geekie, Matthew Savoie and Fraser Minten, and defenseman Denton Mateychuk.
Obviously nothing is confirmed, but in previous years players who did not participate in games against U SPORTS have already had their foot in the door.
