Ed Sheeran revealed the last heartbreaking conversation he had with Australian cricket legend Shane Warne just days before his shocking death.
The legendary bowler died after an alleged heart attack in Koh Samui on Friday after being found unresponsive by friends at his villa in Thailand.
Ed, a close friend of Warne, leads a stream of homage on social media overnight, revealing an ominous phone call he shared with the cricketer just days before his death.

The British singer said that he and Shane have called on the anniversary of the death of Australian music promoter Michael Goodinsky, who died on March 1, 2021.
“The world continues to take amazing people,” Ed wrote in an Instagram post next to a photo of Warn with Gudinski.
“I spoke to Shane on the anniversary of Michael’s death this week, saying that we are both raising a 707 glass in his honor, and now the news is coming out.

“Shane was the sweetest of hearts and always did his best to make people feel welcome and special. Such a gentleman.
“He gave so many hours and years of his life to bring joy to others, and he was such an amazing friend to me. I will miss you, my friend. Absolutely gutted.
The couple was last photographed together in April after the singer had a bachelor party in Melbourne with Shane and his son Jackson.
Ed had flown to Australia before the Michael Goodinsky State Memorial in Melbourne, where he performed an acoustic version of We Were Younger Then.
The British pop star and cricket legend have been close friends since 2014, meeting in Melbourne through mutual friends after a concert by Kylie Minogue.
The couple was last photographed together in April after the singer had a bachelorette party in Melbourne with Shane and his son Jackson.
“I like him a lot, he’s a hero,” Ed said when he recounted the evening they met in a radio interview.
“I have three phones and he sends messages to all three.”
Their relationship continued to grow when Shane gave Ed a signed bat and a personalized T-shirt of the Australian team named after him at the Cricket World Cup final.
Shane wore a sports hat as he introduced the tree that advised Ed to “keep spinning” and signed “Your Friend, Shane Warne.”
A few weeks later, the singer returned the favor in an interview with Sunrise, encouraging Prince Harry to spend the evening with King of Spin while he was touring in Australia.
Shane died after being found by four unanswered friends at his luxury villa at Samujana Villas on Koh Samui, Thailand on Friday.
His manager, Andrew Neofitou, is believed to have done a great cricket CPR in about 20 minutes to try to save his life before an ambulance arrived.
He was then taken to Thai International Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
