EDEN CONFIDENTIAL: Libertines star Pete Doherty is still rocking (his baby) as he makes love to his two-month-old daughter in Germany

Do you even recognize this man?

It’s Pete Doherty, the once disheveled, drug-addicted boyfriend of model Kate Moss.

But the 44-year-old rock singer has opened a new chapter. Now sober and drug free, he has ditched his scruffy stage persona and embraced a slightly more dapper look as a loving father.

The Libertines star was spotted wearing a flat cap and jacket as he held his two-month-old daughter Billie-May.

Her mother is Doherty’s wife Katia de Vidas, a keyboard player.

The couple returned from the opening of their art exhibition in Düsseldorf.

Court Chukka has filed a lawsuit against the Royal Polo Club

King Charles was its founding patron and Princes William and Harry are both registered players, but that hasn’t prevented the Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club from being accused of trademark infringement by a US clothing brand.

Lifestyle Equities argued that the Beverly Hills Polo Club’s logo could be “confused” with the club’s sign near Windsor. The club said the Beverly Hills logo and other polo brands had coexisted for years.

Judge Mellor said he found “a number of issues with the evidence presented to the court by Lifestyle Equities” and dismissed the lawsuit.

Lifestyle Equities said it will appeal the decision.

The smart set speaks of… Davina’s gilded quid pro quo

When Tatler magazine’s social editor, Davina Motion, got engaged to one of the most eligible bachelors in the country, friends joked unkindly about the gold rush.

Davina is now the wife of George, Viscount Chelsea, heir to his father Earl Cadogan’s £5.57billion fortune, and has targeted her critics by throwing a ‘gold’ themed party.

And to show he got the joke, 27-year-old George appeared dressed as a gold miner, with a glittery pickaxe and a jar of nuggets.

Davina, 27, a graduate of Heathfield School in Ascot, who earns £43,000 a year, dazzled in a gold-fringed jacket at the party in Stonehaven, Aberdeenshire.

The couple married last summer at St Luke’s Church in Chelsea, where George’s father owns nearly 100 acres of west London.

Tycoon is a word that conjures up images of a self-made man, but for Sir Richard Branson it’s a dirty word. Comedian Paul Foot was filming a television commercial for Virgin Mobile in which his character’s phone rang. “I said something like, ‘Hello, you tycoon.’ And then I was told that Richard Branson didn’t like being called a tycoon, so I had to change it to “successful businessman.” ‘

Branson, who is said to be worth £2.41billion, has said he can’t stand the word ‘billionaire’ either. You can’t please some people.
