Edouard Julien and the Twins season is over

Édouard Julien and the Twins’ season is over

Quebecer Édouard Julien and his Minnesota Twins teammates were eliminated from the Major Baseball Series on Wednesday evening.

They lost 3 to 2 to the Houston Astros, who ended hostilities with a win in Game 4 of the series. Check out the highlights above.

Julien had a good game in defeat. The 24-year-old hit a solo home run in the sixth inning, cutting the lead to just one run. The Quebec native finished with two hits and a walk in four appearances at the plate.

After Julien’s 366-foot bomb, the Twins couldn’t buy another hit and had no choice but to admit defeat.

For the Astros, Michael Brantley and Jose Abreu threw the ball out of bounds. The two-run home run in the fourth inning of the second made the difference.

Astros starting pitcher José Urquidy (1-0) allowed all of his rivals’ runs, but had only three hits in five and two-thirds work. He also had six strikeouts. In the ninth inning, Ryan Pressly made a brilliant save. He outhit all three batters who came before him in the mitt.

The Astros will now face the Texas Rangers in the American final. This is the seventh time in as many seasons that the Houston club has reached this stage of the playoffs.
