El Salvador works to restore real estate assets

Among the buildings is the National Theater, which will return to its original white and cream colors, according to a statement from the president.

For several months, the authorities have been struggling to organize the streets and buildings that make up the so-called historic center of the city, which for more than 30 years have been raided by street vendors and shops that do not respect planning regulations, according to the authorities.

On his Twitter account, Bukele wrote: “We are restoring the original color of the facade of the National Theater of San Salvador… and we will do it with all the historic buildings in our country.”

Other buildings such as the National Palace, the Cathedral of San Salvador and others will be the subject of restoration in their interiors and exteriors, as well as emblematic streets such as Avenida Arce and Rubén Darío, according to the municipal authorities.
