Recently, authorities in China were investigating reports that a man was acting strangely while filling out a missing persons report. After reviewing the case, the police believed it might be Zhuo. This suspicion was confirmed after his grandson recognized him on a missing persons poster.

The elderly man refused to answer investigators’ questions before a DNA test showed a definite match to one of his relatives, leaving his family in awe.

According to the Daily Star, Zhuo was quite emotional after the DNA test results and the opportunity to see his family again. He was brought home and is fine.

disappearance and cremation

Zhuo Kangluo disappeared in 2014 after escaping from a nursing home. After many searches by the authorities, the body of an elderly man was found on the street, and investigators suspected it might be Zhuo. According to China News Network, the detection was made in the wrong way, as it was not fully proven who it was.

Despite this, Xhuo’s nephew, who became responsible for him, refused the autopsy and decided to cremate his uncle’s body. Therefore, the man was presumed dead.

Now the police are trying to find out who exactly was the person who was cremated in Zhuo’s place.
