Dear Electric Zoo family,

We are deeply heartbroken to inform you that despite our tireless efforts and 24/7 commitment, we have made the painful decision to cancel the first day of Electric Zoo.

This year has brought unparalleled challenges for everyone. Global supply chain disruptions are impacting industries around the world, and unfortunately our beloved festival has not been spared. These unexpected delays prevented us from completing construction of the main stage in time for Day 1.

We know how much today meant to all of you, and your excitement made it extra special for us. It is honestly heartbreaking to share this difficult news. We feel the weight of disappointment and frustration and are so sorry to let our Electric Zoo family down.

We will refund you the full purchase price for your Friday ticket. Holders of multi-day tickets will receive a credit for one of the days. Likewise, all Friday ferry and bus ticket holders will receive a full refund, and those with multi-day transportation tickets will receive a refund equal to one day’s amount. We ensure that this process runs as smoothly and promptly as possible.

On the bright side, Saturday and Sunday will be truly magical. Starting at 1:00 p.m. both days, we look forward to celebrating life and music with all of you and dancing through the sunset against the iconic backdrop of the New York skyline right in the heart of New York City. Let’s come together stronger than ever to create moments that will stay with us forever.

While words cannot fully express the depth of our regret over Day 1, know that this decision was not made lightly. Your safety and experience always comes first and we didn’t want to compromise the quality and integrity of the event you truly deserve.

We ask for your forgiveness and understanding during this challenging time. We deeply regret the inconvenience and disappointment this may cause.
