After Britney Spears revealed her brief romance with Colin Farrell in her memoir The Woman in Me, many wondered what other A-listers Farrell has been linked to over the years. He dated some stars like Carmen Electra, Angelina Jolie… and even the legendary Elizabeth Taylor?!
That’s right, Farrell and Taylor had a multi-year romance from 2009 to 2011.

In 2013, Colin Farrell revealed on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that he and the Cleopatra star had a romantic relationship but never consummated it, according to HuffPost. He revealed that they met at the birth of his son Henry and she was battling heart problems in the same hospital at the same time.
The story goes that they exchanged flowers with each other and couldn’t stop thinking about each other (despite the over 40 year age difference between the two). After a week he visited her and they began a relationship until her death in 2011.

Recounting their time together, he said: “She wasn’t a big sleeper at night, just like I’m not. I would call her at two in the morning; The nurse answered the phone. I asked if she was awake and then I heard ‘Hello?’ on the other phone and I said ‘How are you?’ and we talked for half an hour, an hour, until the early hours of the morning.”
He added: “I just loved her. She was a spectacular, spectacular woman.”
“It was a bit like last time; It feels like it’s in my head, not hers,” Farrell said. “I’m projecting… But the last kind of romantic relationship I had.” Which was never consummated.”
However, according to Life and Style, Farrell found love again with Kelly Macnamara from 2017 to 2022.
