Elle Fanning is spotted holding hands with Rolling Stone CEO Gus Wenner … after dining with Lorde in New York City ahead of her Broadway debut

Elle Fanning, 25, was spotted hand in hand with Rolling Stone magazine CEO Gus Wenner, 33, in New York City.

Earlier in the evening, the duo had dinner with Lorde, 26, actress Annabelle Dexter Jones, 37, and Theo Wenner at West Village hotspot The Waverly Inn.

After grabbing a bite to eat together, the star-studded group of friends went for drinks at Corner Bistro.

The All the Bright Places star, who is set to adapt Paris Hilton’s memoir into a TV series with her sister Dakota Fanning, wore a long black coat over jeans.

For the occasion, she wore her long blonde hair down and windswept and carried a small black handbag.

The publishing tycoon also wore jeans with a shorter black coat, a checked shirt and a brown scarf. He carried a cigarette in his left hand.

Fanning previously had a five-year relationship with actor Max Minghella, which ended in April.

“But I’m a hopeless romantic. I believe in love at first sight. Call me crazy, but I believe in these things. I feel like it’s my destiny,” Fanning said in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar UK

The “Maleficent” star currently lives in New York’s SoHo neighborhood and is currently preparing for her Broadway debut next month.

The play is called Appropriate and is described on the website as a “darkly comic American family drama.”

Previews begin November 29th at Second Stage’s Hayes Theater, with the premiere scheduled for December 18th.

The story follows the Lafayette family as they “return to their late patriarch’s home in Arkansas to tend to what remains of his estate,” according to Variety.

Sarah Paulson, 48, plays the eldest daughter Toni, who wants to honor her late father. Corey Stoll plays her brother, who hopes to recoup the money he spent caring for his father.

“But things take a turn when her estranged brother Franz shows up one night and mysterious objects are discovered in the mess,” the synopsis reads.

Last month, the Super 8 star announced her good news on Instagram.

“Making my Broadway debut in #AppropriateBway by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins (@_bjj__) along with @nataliegold_48, @alyssaemmarvin, #CoreyStoll and @mssarahcatherinepaulson @2stnyc!!” she wrote in the caption.

The new role comes at a good time, as Elle’s Hulu show The Great was canceled after one season.

The Great was an alternative historical and satirical comedy.

Elle played Catherine the Great, while English actor Nicholas Hoult starred alongside her as Peter III. of Russia played.

She also served as the program’s executive producer.
