Kyiv:
Following an escalation in Russia’s bombing of neighboring Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelensky today said he had spoken to billionaire Elon Musk about the war, announcing that Ukraine would receive another batch of Starlink “to destroy cities” satellite broadband systems from Musk’s SpaceX company.
The President of Ukraine also mentioned other potential space projects that could be realized in a partnership between the former Soviet country and SpaceX, although he added that these were “post-war” talks.
“I talked with @elonmusk. I am grateful to him for supporting Ukraine in word and deed. Next week we will receive another batch of Starlink systems for destroyed cities. We discussed possible space projects. But I will talk about this after the war,” Zelensky wrote.

Elon Musk previously provided Starlink satellite internet terminals to Ukraine after internet services in the country were disrupted by a Russian military incursion.
Shortly after, however, the tech mogul warned that there was a high possibility Starlink’s satellite broadband service could be “targeted” at the war-torn country, given that it was “the only non-Russian communications system still operating in parts of Ukraine.” .” He advised people to use it with caution.
Starlink operates a constellation of over 2,000 satellites that are dedicated to providing Internet access around the planet. The company launched 50 more Starlink satellites on Friday, with many more planned to orbit Earth.
