Elon Musk has shared stunning footage of his newly released cyberbeast overtaking a Porsche 911 in a drag race and defeating an F-350 Diesel in an off-road truck pull.
The billionaire X-CEO (formerly of Twitter) used his online platform to share demonstrations of the Cyberbeast’s acceleration capabilities in two videos.
In one clip, the gigantic stainless steel truck could be seen overtaking the 2023 Porsche 911 in a quarter mile while simultaneously pulling another 911 behind it.
Another video showed the Cyberbeast’s remarkable strength as it competed in a truck pull against a Ford F-350 Diesel and emerged victorious.
The $99,990 Cyberbeast is the latest version of the Cybertruck, Tesla’s massive SUV that packs 845 horsepower and can go from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.6 seconds.

Tesla’s Cybertruck fleet has been years in the making, with all-wheel drive and rear-wheel drive versions also joining the Cyberbreast offering.
The Cyberbeast, the most expensive of the trio, will be able to cover a quarter mile in under 11 seconds and its impressive power is on display as Musk shared the impressive footage.
The 6,843-pound electric vehicle has a towing capacity of 11,000 pounds, a top speed of 130 miles per hour and can charge up to 250 kW.
The steel-coated vehicle is designed for all-terrain use and features a 6-foot-long, 4-foot-wide bed that can hold up to 2,500 pounds and has 17 inches of ground clearance.
If Musk’s claim that the Cyberbeast needs just 2.6 seconds to go from 0 to 60 mph is true, the truck would become the fastest electric pickup truck in the world.
Musk said the Cybertruck’s body is made of a Tesla-developed stainless steel alloy that is not susceptible to corrosion and does not require painting – but can still be mass-produced.
The Cybertruck is the first car in the United States since the DMC DeLorean from Back to the Future to use a stainless steel body. It also features tempered glass that can withstand the impact of a baseball at 70 miles per hour or Class 4 hail.
Musk said the doors are up to .45 caliber & 9 millimeter cartridges. He showed the audience at the event in Austin, Texas, a video demonstrating the skill.
Priced at $99,990, the Cyberbeast features an 845-horsepower tri-motor powertrain capable of 0-60 mph in 2.6 seconds and quarter mile in under 11 seconds

In recent demonstrations, it was seen blowing out a huge Porsche 911 Carrera T, which has 379 horsepower and can go from 0 to 60 mph in 4.3 seconds (manual).
While the iconic car is more expensive than its Tesla competitor, starting at $124,900, it has a higher top speed on the track at an incredible 181 miles per hour.
For maximum performance, the car requires premium fuel.
On the other hand, the Ford 350 diesel truck has a fuel capacity of up to 50 gallons and an output of just over half that of the Tesla beast, between 385 and 475 horsepower.
The truck also has a towing capacity of 12,000g to 24,000g and is considered a premium heavy-duty truck for towing or transporting heavy loads.
The release of the two videos comes after Musk presented keys to the first 12 Cybertruck owners during a live event today, marking Tesla finally delivering the futuristic truck after a four-year delay.
The CEO appeared in good spirits as he watched the steel-coated electric vehicles roll onto a stage before inviting everyone to take a seat in their new truck.
Shortly after the live stream ended, Tesla updated its website with new pricing, showing that the price of the Cybertuck had almost doubled from $39,999 to $60,990.
However, Musk made no mention of the increase during the 25-minute event at Tesla’s Gigafactory in Austin, Texas.

The ceremony began with Musk driving the truck across a stage in the dark and jumping into bed to speak.
“It’s the most unique thing on the street,” he said. “Finally the future will look like the future.”
Musk joked with the crowd, which was in a completely different mood than the day before when he told Disney boss Bob Iger to “go fuck himself.”
This remark was made when Musk was asked about Iger’s decision to stop advertising X.
But the sentiment didn’t last Thursday, as Musk stood tall in the back of a Cybertruck and touted the vehicle’s longevity.
He even had Tesla design chief Franz von Holshausen recreate the 2019 test in which shatterproof glass was seen with a metal ball.
This time, however, a baseball was used, which bounced off the “armored glass”.
Each of the ten owners smiled as Musk opened the door to their new Cybertrucks and invited them to sit in the passenger seat – a Tesla employee drove off the stage.
There was speculation that Tesla would increase the price due to customizations and upgrades since the prototype was unveiled.
More than two million people are on the waiting list, which requires a $100 deposit to secure a truck.
Tesla faced “tremendous challenges in achieving mass production” of the Cybertruck due to its new technology and design, and also found it difficult to generate cash flow while selling it at a price people could afford Musk said in a recent statement.
“We dug our own grave with Cybertruck,” Musk said last month, warning that it would take a year to 18 months to make the vehicle a significant cash flow contributor.
Experts said Cybertruck’s new body material and unconventional, futuristic design make production more complex and expensive and threaten to alienate traditional pickup buyers focused on utility.
A few years ago, Musk floated the idea that Tesla could “build a normal-looking truck” if people didn’t like the futuristic Cybertruck design.
Eric Noble, president of automotive consulting firm The CARLAB, said, “The bigger problem for the Cybertruck is that the Cybertruck wasn’t really designed with pickup truck users in mind.”
“It will have a much narrower appearance than a Ram or an F-Series,” he said of the popular pickups from Dodge and Ford.

Tesla, Musk said, could have quickly produced trucks similar to those already on the market, but he wanted to create something innovative and unique
But on the company’s earnings call in October, Musk lamented how difficult it was to produce the innovative truck with a body made of hard-to-bend stainless steel.
“We have over a million people who have reserved the car, so it’s not a demand issue,” he said. “But we have to do it, and do it at a price that people can afford. ‘Insanely difficult things.’
Tesla, Musk said, could have quickly produced trucks similar to those already on the market, but he wanted to create something innovative and unique.
“Specialized products that come out every now and then are just incredibly difficult to get to market to achieve volume and be successful,” he said.
He assumes that a future, cheaper Tesla car will be more conventional and therefore much easier to build.

Telsa’s Cybertruck caused a sensation when it was unveiled to the world in November 2019, promising a 2021 launch.
The celebrated event quickly turned into a nightmare for Musk after the glass on his new electric “cybertruck” shattered after he boasted that it was “shatterproof.”
During the announcement of the truck, which looks like an armored vehicle with square sides, Tesla design chief Franz von Holshausen tried to prove that the glass was “shatterproof” by throwing a heavy metal ball at close range.
Musk was heard muttering “Oh my f***ing God” as the glass shattered.
Since this prototype, optimizations have been made to the Cybertruck to ensure it is more durable and resistant to impacts from rocks and debris that can fly up when traveling at high speeds over rough terrain.
According to Musk, the Cybertruck’s exoskeleton is now made of a new type of stainless steel that is strong enough to withstand the impact of a 9mm handgun.
According to Tesla’s website, the rear-wheel drive Cybertruck will be “available” in 2025, but the all-wheel drive and Cyberbeast are scheduled to launch in 2024
The truck targets the most profitable part of the U.S. auto market, now controlled primarily by Ford, General Motors and Ram truck maker Stellantis.
Since Musk’s announcement four years ago, Ford, GM and Rivian have already offered their own electric trucks, and the electric Ram is scheduled to hit the market early next year.
The Rivian RT has one of the fastest launch times among electric trucks and can sprint from 0 to 60 mph in 3.0 seconds and up to a top speed of 110 mph.
Ford’s F-Series pickups are the best-selling vehicles in the country, followed by GM’s Chevrolet Silverado and Stellantis’ Ram.
Combined, all three Detroit automakers sold nearly 1.7 million large pickup trucks through October at prices that could reach more than $100,000 per vehicle.
