Elon Musk said Tuesday that George Soros “hates humanity” because he supports policies that “undermine the fabric of civilization.”

Musk, 52, appeared on Joe Rogan’s podcast. The pair appeared to drink whiskey and smoke cigars as they discussed a wide range of topics for two hours.

The CEO of by the ventilators, not the virus.

The couple – Rogan in a blonde wig and Puerto Rico shirt for Halloween; Musk even went into the parking lot with a silk scarf around his neck to fire arrows at Musk’s Tesla Cybertruck.

Musk bet Rogan $1 that the arrows wouldn’t penetrate the sides of the truck. Musk won.

Musk repeated his longstanding criticism of billionaire financier George Soros, 93, who has championed progressive causes for decades and angered Musk in May by selling his Tesla shares.

Elon Musk appeared on Joe Rogan’s podcast on Tuesday, smoking a cigar and drinking what looked like whiskey

Soros, born in Budapest, survived the Nazi occupation of Hungary and moved first to Britain, then to the United States, where he began his highly influential philanthropy.

“He is, in my opinion, the largest donor to the Democratic Party,” Musk told Rogan. “The second one was Sam Bankman-Fried.

“And Soros had a very difficult upbringing.”

“In my opinion, he fundamentally hates humanity. That’s my opinion.”

Musk said he was deeply opposed to Soros’ work supporting progressive prosecutors who he said pursued soft-on-crime policies.

“He does things that undermine the fabric of civilization — he elects prosecutors who refuse to prosecute crimes,” Musk said.

“That’s part of the problem in San Francisco, LA and a number of other cities.”

“So why would you do that?”

Rogan asked, “Is it humanity or just the United States?”

Musk said it was worldwide.

“He’s driving things forward in other countries too,” Musk said.

George Soros, 92, angered Elon Musk with his progressive policies

Musk told Rogan that he thought Soros was “basically a little senile” at this point – in June, Soros handed control of the Open Society Foundations and the rest of his $25 billion empire to his 37-year-old son Alex.

The foundation directs approximately $1.5 billion annually to groups that, for example, promote human rights around the world and help build democracies. Alex Soros said he plans to expand the foundation’s priorities to include voting and abortion rights and gender justice.

Musk said the elder Soros was “very smart” in using his money to achieve his goals.

“He is very good at arbitrage – he famously shorted the British pound,” Musk explained. “That’s how I think he made his first money.”

Arbitrage is the process of finding value for money that others do not recognize.

“And one of the things he noticed is that the value for money in local races is much higher than in national races.”

“The lowest value is a presidential race.” Then the next lowest value is a Senate race, then Congress.

“And when you reach out to city and state district attorneys, the value for money is extremely good.”

Musk said Soros discovered he could help enforce the policies he endorsed through local officials.

“Soros realized that you don’t really need to change the laws,” Musk said.

“You just need to change the way they are enforced.”

“If no one chooses to enforce the laws, or if the laws are enforced differently, then that is like changing the laws.”

Musk has previously compared Soros to X-Men supervillain Magneto – a character who manipulates the world and believes mutants, not humans, should be in charge.

He made the comments on Twitter in May after it was announced that Soros’ investment fund had sold all Tesla shares.

Elon Musk was interviewed on CNBC and asked about his comments about George Soros. He gave a bizarre, rambling answer. George Soros, a Hungarian-born billionaire, heads the Open Society Foundation and is a Holocaust survivor. His foundation supports progressive politicians

Musk responded to Jonathan Greenblatt, CEO of the Anti-Defamation League, saying the South African-born billionaire was not anti-Semitic, but his comments were dangerous.

“He is arguably the most influential person on the planet, essentially controlling our public square.” “When he repeats conspiracy theories, it feeds the extremists,” Greenblatt said.

Musk responded: “In fairness, I have to admit that Joel is right and I will try to be more thoughtful in the future.”

He later corrected his tweet to say “Jonathan.”

Musk continued: “Cartoon analogies are obviously imperfect, to say the least.”

“Just because George Soros can bend metal with his mind doesn’t mean he’s Magneto!!

“Anyway, my real concern with Soros is that he has funded so many politicians and prosecutors who are even soft on violent crime, which I think has done great damage in many cities.”

“While I strongly support expanding legal immigration, we must have some control over who comes in so we don’t allow dangerous criminals to take advantage of innocent Americans.”

Israel’s Foreign Ministry said Musk’s tweet led to a flood of conspiracy theories and made the hashtag “The Jews” trend on the platform.

Then on Tuesday, Musk discussed buying Twitter, now renamed X.

Musk spent two hours speaking to Rogan for his show

In the year since buying the company for $44 billion, Musk’s value has fallen to $19 billion.

He has laid off more than 6,000 people – about 80 percent of the staff – and taken actions that have angered many users.

He has defused content moderation, restored accounts of previously banned extremists and allowed users to purchase account verification to help them profit from viral – but often inaccurate – posts.

Musk has instead promoted Community Notes, where X users monitor the platform, as a tool to combat misinformation.

Musk said he bought the platform because he wanted to save “civilization.”

“This may sound melodramatic, but I was afraid it would have a corrosive effect on civilization,” he told Rogan.

“I just have a bad effect.”

He said part of the problem is that the company is based in hyper-liberal San Francisco and the city’s flawed policies have “infected” employees.

“I think part of it is where it is located, which is downtown San Francisco,” he said.

“Although I think San Francisco is a beautiful city and we should fight really hard to right the ship of San Francisco.”

“But if you walk through downtown San Francisco, right near the X headquarters, it’s the zombie apocalypse. It’s really tough.”

He asked Rogan if he had been there recently. Rogan replied that this was not the case.

“It’s crazy,” Musk continued. “You can’t believe it until you get there.”

“And you have to say: what philosophy led to this result?

“And that philosophy was transferred to Earth.”

“So – a philosophy that would normally be rather niche and fairly contained, so the scope of fallout was limited, was effectively used as an information weapon.”

“An information technology weapon to spread what is essentially a mind virus across the Earth.”

“And the mental virus is very evident when you walk the streets of downtown San Francisco.”

“It’s the end of civilization.”

Musk has loudly condemned progressive politicians in San Francisco and called for the most liberal politician, Dean Preston, to be jailed.

Preston, a member of the Democratic Socialists, has since closed his X account.

Musk is expected to attend a global summit on artificial intelligence in Britain this week, according to a government official.

The UK is bringing together AI company representatives, political leaders and experts on November 1 and 2 to discuss what some see as the risks posed by AI, with the aim of building an international consensus on its safe development.

According to the agenda, around 100 participants will discuss, among other things, the unpredictable advances of AI and the possibility of humans losing control over it.

While several world leaders, including U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, will attend the summit, the full guest list has not been made public.

“Speaking to @elonmusk after the AI Safety Summit on @X on Thursday evening,” tweeted British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
