Elon Musk has also hinted that his showdown with Mark Zuckerberg will take place at the Coliseum in Rome.

“The live stream will be on this platform and meta.” Everything in the camera image will be ancient Rome, so nothing modern at all.
“I spoke to the Italian Prime Minister and Minister of Culture. “They agreed on an epic place.”

While Musk may be pointing to the Colosseum with his Gladiator reference, the Ridley Scott-produced classic was filmed in a recreation in Malta.
Musk, who has become something of a man of the people since taking over Twitter, told X users, “Anything that is done will show respect for Italy’s past and present.”
As for the win? According to the South African, “all proceeds go to veterans.”
Of course, there’s also a business aspect to the fight, as Musk confirms that Twitter Blue or subscribers to his profile will receive a “bonus” with behind-the-scenes footage.
Las Vegas was originally envisioned as a potential setting for a fantasy match between Facebook billionaire Zuckerberg and X [formerly Twitter] Chief Musk, but reports in June said the Coliseum could be an option.
According to TMZ, Zuckerberg was approached by Italy’s culture minister about staging his showdown with Musk on Rome’s iconic battlefield, with the latter also tweeting, “A random brawl is breaking out in the Colosseum.”
The odds seem to be growing.
One of the seven wonders of the world, Rome’s Colosseum is the symbol of Italy but hasn’t hosted a large audience in it for hundreds of years.

The almost 2,000-year-old amphitheater can only accommodate a few hundred spectators on provisional seats.
A proposed date for a possible clash between the two social media titans has been controversial, with August 26 listed as a possible option for both parties.
However, Musk said on Sunday he should have an MRI scan for an injury.
