Elon Musk’s ex-girlfriend Grimes reportedly begged the billionaire to let her see their three-year-old son X.

Claire Boucher, 35, who performs under her stage name Grimes, accused the father of her children of “torn my family apart” and said the mother of his twins, Shivon Zilis, had blocked her on Twitter.

According to screenshots of a now-deleted tweet – beneath a picture of Musk and the two children he shares with Zilis – Grimes wrote: “Tell Shivon to unblock me and tell Elon to let me see my son, or.” please respond to my lawyer.”

“Until now, I have never been allowed to see a photo of these children, even though the situation has completely torn my family apart.”

Representatives for Grimes have been contacted for comment.

She reportedly wrote the comment under the newly released picture of Elon Musk with the Neuralink director and the twins they quietly had together almost two years ago.

Twins Strider and Azure were born in November 2021, just weeks before Musk and Boucher welcomed their second child via surrogate.

Musk’s complicated personal life included three marriages and three divorces, including two each with the same woman, and seven children from two long-term romances, as well as the twins with Zilis, whom they conceived through in vitro fertilization.

Elon began dating Grimes in April 2018, and the eccentric couple made headlines when they made their red carpet debut at the Met Gala the following month.

Amid a series of breakups and reconnections, the couple welcomed their first son, “X AE A-XII,” in May 2020.

Their second child, Exa Dark Sideræl, whose name is Y, was born through a surrogate mother in December 2021.

Musk had his other children with his ex-wife, the Canadian author Justine Wilson.

He married Justine Wilson in 2000. Their first son, Nevada, tragically died at ten weeks old in 2002, before the couple welcomed twins Griffin and Xavier in 2004.

Xavier – now 19 – has now become female. Her name is Vivian and she has given up her father’s famous surname – after telling a court she no longer wants to be related to him “in any way”.

Zilis, who was born in Ontario, Canada, met Musk through OpenAI, the nonprofit artificial intelligence research and deployment organization that Musk co-founded in 2015, Insider reported.

According to her LinkedIn profile, Zilis was on Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list in the venture capital category in 2015 and joined Musk’s brain chip company Neuralink in 2017 as director of operations and special projects.

Musk and Zilis filed a petition to change the twins’ names in April last year to “preserve their father’s last name and include their mother’s last name as part of their middle name,” court documents said.

The photo of Musk, Zilis and the twins posted by Musk’s biographer Walter Isaacson was taken at Zilis’ home in Austin, Texas, according to an excerpt from the biography published in Time.
