The list has former US President Barack Obama at the top and Mr. Musk in eighth place. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also on the list, just below Tesla’s CEO. Others include entertainers like Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Rihana, soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo, Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga and Ellen DeGeneres.
Twitter recently named Mr Musk to the board after the outspoken and divisive executive revealed he had acquired a more than nine percent stake in the company, making him its largest shareholder.
Staff at the social media company have raised concerns about Mr Musk’s influence on the company’s board, as he is seen as ruthless and has attacked Twitter over free speech in the past.
Mr Musk, who is often accused of subtle online bullying, said he looks forward to making “significant improvements to Twitter” soon.
The Tesla boss began polling his followers about adding an “edit” button to the service, a long-discussed tweak.
On Thursday in 2018, he tweeted a photo of himself smoking marijuana on a podcast hosted by Joe Rogan with the caption, “Twitter’s next board meeting will be highlighted.”
