Elton John’s appearances with her husband are rare. The American superstar attended a concert with Canadian filmmaker David Furnish this Saturday March 10th. The couple got to admire Stephan Sanchez, a 21-year-old American singer who performed on the Troubadour stage in West Hollywood.
In this discotheque, the 75-year-old Briton gave his first performance in the United States on August 25, 1970 at the invitation of Neil Diamond. This iconic space on the outskirts of Beverly Hills has hosted Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Neil Young, Leonard Cohen and even Depeche Mode.

Elton John and David Furnish married in December 2014, when same-sex marriage became legal in England. Nine years after their “registered association”, the lovebirds had published various photos of the ceremony on their respective Instagram accounts. Their first child, Zachary Jackson Levon, was born on December 25, 2010 in California to a surrogate mother. On January 11, 2013, the same woman gave birth to their second son, Elijah Joseph Daniel.

In the past, Elton John was married to Renate Blauel, a German audio engineer, for four years without accepting his homosexuality. The latter also attacked the singer in court in his autobiography, published in 2019, for violating their non-disclosure agreement, which they signed in 1988 during their separation.
