Elton John was taken to hospital and spent the night there after falling at home in Nice, France. The information comes from BBC News.
According to the publication, the 76yearold singer was taken to the orthopedic ward at Monaco’s Princess Grace Hospital, where he was treated for minor injuries.
A spokesman confirmed to the BBC News website that the artist was taken to hospital “after slipping at his home in the south of France yesterday (Sunday).”
“Elton went to the local hospital as a precaution,” says the spokesman. “Following the checkups, he was released immediately this morning and is now back home in good health.”
Elton John spent the summer in France with his husband David Furnish and their two children after his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour ended in July.
