While Elton John’s Glastonbury show on Sunday will go down in history as one of the greatest headliners of all time, it’s sure to be a performance to remember for two couples.

During the 76-year-old singer’s performance on the Pyramid Stage, BBC cameramen wanted to capture the reaction of the hundreds of thousands of fans, with a keen-eyed cameraman capturing a very special moment on tape.

When Elton brought The Killers frontman Brandon Flowers to duet on his 1971 hit “Tiny Dancer,” one couple in the crowd had eyes for each other when they got engaged.

While surrounded by revelers at Worthy Farm, a man got on one knee and popped the question, leaving everyone around him gaping.

Miraculously, a cameraman captured the moment and broadcast it live to millions of viewers.

The beautiful moment came just moments after another couple got engaged on the show.

Taking to Twitter on Monday, author Bobbi Hadgraft revealed, “Leaving Glastonbury with a fiancé ❤️” and shared a picture of the couple kissing.

Explaining that it happened during Elton’s performance, she added, “Ps. Brandon Flowers from The Killers came out a few songs later and my head exploded. He’s my favorite singer in the world and he was DA! Couldn’t write it.’

Sir Elton’s final performance of his recent UK tour was hailed by fans as “the best Glastonbury headliner ever” as he closed the show on Sunday night.

The superstar singer, 76, walked onto the Pyramid Stage in Glastonbury in tears for the final UK show of his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour.

After hundreds of thousands gathered at Worthy Farm and millions tuned in to watch Elton’s final goodbye, fans called the performance a triumph.

One person said that after promising to play “hit after hit,” Elton eventually delivered during his two-hour set, which featured four special guests – though not Dua Lipa and Britney Spears, who had been expected to they would perform that night.

The “life-affirming” set was watched by his husband David Furnish and their children, as well as celebrity pals including David Walliams and the Spice Girls, who were reportedly set to join him for a glitzy after-party after the show.

Stars including Paul McCartney, Taron Egerton and Andrew Garfield were also spotted backstage watching the show before attending Elton’s party.

The only disappointment for some was that well-known stars who were said to be dueting with the legend did not perform that night.

It was widely speculated that 41-year-old Britney Spears would perform her song “Hold Me Closer” with Elton during the show, however she never performed.

Elton also noted that he would be singing Dua Lipa’s part of the song “Cold Heart” himself since she couldn’t be there that night either.

At the start of the show, Elton took the stage in a gold suit before sitting down at the piano as the fireworks went off, saying he never thought he’d be playing at the festival for what was a “special and emotional” show.

Pop star Sir Elton took off his famous red-tinted glasses to wipe his tears while his musical guests paid tribute to him on stage.

In the evening he dedicated his penultimate song “Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me” to the late George Michael on the occasion of the singer’s 60th birthday and said: “Today is a very special day, I was wondering how I was doing .” will do it.

“One of Britain’s most fantastic singers and songwriters was George Michael. He was my friend, he was an inspiration and today would have been his 60th birthday so I want to dedicate this song to his memory. All the music he left us is so great. “This is for you, George.”
