While the Amazon Prime Video platform is broadcasting the first season of a documentary entitled “Elvis’Women”, his brother-in-law reveals a dark side of Elvis Presley’s personality. David Stanley became the A Little Less Conversation singer’s half-brother when his mother married Elvis’ father, Vernon Presley. In 2016 he autographed a book entitled My Brother Elvis: The Final Years, in which he looks back on his past experiences at the star’s side as bodyguard to the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll. David Stanley has witnessed the American singer’s life up close for the last five years. At the time, Elvis Presley was struggling with his addiction. In 1977, at the age of 42, he died of cardiac arrest due to an overdose.

He got away with it because of his money, wealth, fame and power,” he believes. According to him, therefore, Elvis would have felt guilty until his last breath and would have decided to end his life. ” He couldn’t take it anymore ‘ said David Stanley.
