Elvis Presley’s legacy will be celebrated with a holiday special, Christmas At Graceland, produced by his granddaughter Riley Keough
NBC has announced it will produce a live Christmas television special to celebrate Elvis Presley’s legacy.
According to People, “Christmas At Graceland” will feature several musical guests who will pay holiday tributes to the late hitmaker.
The special will mark the first time a holiday special will be filmed at the Memphis, Tennessee, home of Elvis, whose personal life has recently been discussed by his former wife, Priscilla.
Christmas At Graceland is currently scheduled to premiere on November 29 at 10 p.m. ET, and the special will also be available to stream on Peacock after it airs.
“Christmas At Graceland” will also serve as a sequel to the long-running NBC special “Christmas at Rockefeller Center,” which airs at 8 p.m

Details of the program’s musical performers are currently being withheld from the public.
Presley’s granddaughter, Riley Keough, is set to serve as one of the special’s executive producers.
The 34-year-old actress issued a statement expressing her excitement for the upcoming project.
She stated, “My family and I are thrilled to be opening the doors to Graceland with this one of a kind special.”
Keough, whose mother was the singer’s only daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, added some information about what would happen during the special.
“With intimate musical performances inspired by my grandfather Elvis’ beloved Christmases in Memphis, viewers are invited to experience the magic of Christmas at Graceland firsthand.”
Jen Neal, executive vice president of live events and specials for NBCUniversal Media Group, issued her own statement thanking Keough and her loved ones for opening Graceland for the special.
“We thank Riley and her family for allowing us all to visit her grandfather’s iconic home and share an intimate musical experience that Elvis would have truly loved,” she said.

Presley released a holiday-themed album titled Elvis’ Christmas Album back in October 1957.
The performer waited 14 years before producing a sequel, Elvis Sings The Wonderful World of Christmas.
The hitmaker previously worked with NBC to create what was slated to be a Christmas special in 1968.
The project, since commonly referred to as the “’68 Comeback Special,” helped revive Presley’s career at the time.
“Christmas at Graceland” will air on NBC on Wednesday, November 29 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
