It seems like we’ve heard every new detail and claim about Elvis Presley for the last two years. From Austin Butler’s performance in the Oscar-nominated film Elvis to his wife Priscilla Presley’s resurgent account of their relationship in her autobiography, people want to know everything they can. Most recently, Sofia Coppola’s upcoming movie Priscilla released its first trailer, along with a little-known Amazon documentary called Elvis’ Women (or Loving Elvis).

With this documentary, we get accounts from Elvis’ past lovers, as well as a bombastic claim from his stepbrother, David Stanley. As many know, Elvis died suddenly at the age of 42 after suffering cardiac arrest induced by codeine pills, but Stanley claims there’s more to the story.

In the documentary, Stanley claims Elvis died by suicide. Additionally, he committed suicide because he “couldn’t bear” to reveal his relationships with teenage girls.

“He deliberately took the drugs that killed him. Love, pain, pain, exposure — he just couldn’t take it anymore,” he claimed, according to Page Six, adding he “couldn’t go on” because he feared his alleged relationships with teenage girls would come to light for his Comeback.

Stanley added, “His fondness for young girls around the age of 15 or 16 sickened me.” He added that it was a “miracle” that Elvis wasn’t “broke.” He continued, saying, “He got away with things most people didn’t because of his money, his wealth, his fame and power, his charisma and his appeal.” Elvis could talk the socks off [of] You.”

The story goes on

As many know, Elvis and his wife Priscilla began dating when she was 14 and he was 24. But Priscilla was reportedly not the only one. Author Joel Williamson claimed in his book Elvis Presley: A Southern Life that Elvis took about three 14-year-old girls on tour for “pillow fights, tickles, kisses and cuddles.” Many others have claimed that he has had relationships with teenage girls throughout his life.
