An incredible video, filmed during Melbourne’s rush hour, captured the moment two women exchanged punches on a busy road in front of horrified motorists.
Video showed a driver stopping her car before exiting to confront a pedestrian on Brighton Road in Elwood, south-east Melbourne, at 6pm on Monday.
A horrified bystander filmed the beating at a tram stop in the middle of the street.

A woman wearing sunglasses was seen throwing punches at her opponent’s head.
Her car is stopped in the middle of the lane, preventing the car behind her from proceeding.
The sunglass woman dodged an incoming punch from her opponent before leaping forward and swinging her arm in the air.
She then pulled her opponent’s hair and tried to pull her head down before stepping back to avoid another punch.
Bystanders quickly jumped in to try to separate the arguing women.
A tall man in a white shirt stood between them and tried to calm them down.
Two other people rushed over to help him and defuse the situation.
Victoria Police said they had received no reports of the violent altercation.
