The British-American biographer interviewed more than 120 people close to the royal family to complete her work. In particular, she documented herself for two years with friends, lovers, in-laws, prime ministers, staff and advisers working in the palace, or former employees of the Crown. Although not all of his sources are cited in order to preserve their anonymity, several are cited and everything fits together so well that the credibility of the statements is not questioned.
