Emergency call: A little boy wanted to hug a police officer

A Florida police officer experienced a funny situation after a child called 911 so he could hug him.

When Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Deputy Scott Pracht responded to a call from the little boy, the boy’s mother quickly suspected who had initiated the situation.

“To be honest, he doesn’t even know what 911 is,” explained the woman, who confirmed that her son made the call using a cell phone that wasn’t connected.

You should know that a cell phone can be used to make an emergency call even without being connected to a telephone service.

“I wanted to hug him,” the child is heard saying in a video captured on Mr. Pracht’s body camera, who explained that 911 calls were reserved for emergencies.

“ [Le 911]it is in case you are in trouble and need help […] “You have to be careful when you call this number,” he told the little boy before giving him a “fist bump.”
