Singer James Blunt has accused his co-writer Amanda Ghost of exaggerating her involvement in the production of his hit You’re Beautiful.
In his new memoir, which he says is “inspired” by the truth, James, 49, writes that he credited Amanda with ten percent of the song – which was No. 1 for five weeks in 2005 – even though she only did one had a passing comment about “[tying] until the end of the chorus. But Amanda, 49, who is working on a musical based on “The Great Gatsby,” isn’t having it.
Amanda tells me: “I hope that with his new book James proves himself to be one of the greatest novelists of his generation.”
Do you feel the sarcasm?
