EMILY PRESCOTT Monkey and crocodile pattern silk tie made so

EMILY PRESCOTT: Monkey and crocodile pattern silk tie made so popular by Prince Edward that it sold out on the Hermes website

She was recently hailed as the “fashiest woman in the world” by designer Silvia Fendi, but Princess Anne may have found her style match – in her brother, Prince Edward, the Duke of Edinburgh.

The 59-year-old duke – the late queen's youngest child – wore an elegant Hermes silk tie with monkeys and crocodiles as he visited the Pretoria National Botanical Garden on a recent trip to South Africa.

The £200 tie has become so popular that it has sold out on Hermes' website. Talk about trendsetters!

The crush of the week… Rita Ora's mother Vera

Vera Ora – Rita's mother – warmed our hearts with body positivity and praise this week.

The 60-year-old shared a video of herself singing her daughter's song “Shape Of Me,” which is about body confidence, and even mentions her mother in the first line, saying, “My mom has that heart, she said “don't let it go” of the parts that keep you younger.'

Vera touched our hearts when she wrote on social media: “Listen up ladies – feel privileged to be getting older. To give a little youth, because wisdom is priceless – use it well.”

The land of the free

She has been known to lambast Tory ministers as out of touch for enjoying lavish holidays beyond the reach of ordinary workers. But when Labor deputy leader Angela Rayner took a trip to New York after Christmas, she didn't have to dig into her pocket for accommodation.

Millionaire media mogul Lord (Waheed) Alli gave her a five-night free stay in his apartment, which she estimated would have otherwise cost her £1,250 when she registered it on MPs' register of interests.
