‘I’m done. I’m keeping my fingers crossed,” she told the Courier Mail last year.

“I really want to come to Australia and so do my children,” she added, speaking of sons Tate Lee Jones, 11, and Beau Lee Jones, 14.

“There’s a bond, and it’s very, very strong.”

Bunton reunited with Mel C in December when they performed together at the Theater Royal Drury Lane in London as part of their celebratory tour.

“It’s just the absolute best time. It seems like it wasn’t that long ago,” she said of her ’90s heyday

“In the middle of the tour I got sick and lost my voice. It was heartbreaking and absolutely devastating, but the support I got from my fans was amazing,” Bunton said.

She said that performing again with Sporty Spice reminded her of the times they performed together as part of the Spice Girls in the early days of their career.

“When I got back on stage with Mel C, you immediately go back to that moment and it feels very magical and like yesterday,” she said.
