Emma Roberts wrote a heartwarming Instagram tribute to her son Rhodes, who officially turned two on Tuesday.
The Scream Queens alum, 31, welcomed their son in December 2020, whom she shares with actor and ex-boyfriend Garrett Hedlund.
The talented beauty – who stars in upcoming comedy titled Maybe I Do – split from Hedlund in early January this year after nearly three years together.

In the adorable snap shared by the actress, Emma relaxed on a comfortable couch with a loving smile on her face while her son stood next to her and looked out the window.
The American Horror Story actress wore stylish green loungewear that included featherweight trimmings at the hem and cuffs. Her blonde tresses were center parted and flowed effortlessly down her shoulders in natural waves.
The star’s right hand rested gently on Rhodes’ back to ensure he didn’t fall as he gazed out at the scenic outdoor scenery and colorful toys by the window.
In the caption of the post, Emma wrote: “Happy Birthday to my angel boy Rhodes!!! I love you beyond that!’

The Nerve actress also uploaded a photo to her Instagram Story of a blue race car cake she made especially for her son to celebrate his second birthday.
The cake was completely covered in a sugary blue icing and the number two was added to the front and side of the delicious dessert.
“Happy Birthday Rhodes” was frosted on an edible mini sign, while the cake was also surrounded by gold and silver stars.
Emma welcomed her son in December 2020, whom she shares with Tulsa King actor Garrett Hedlund. The couple began dating in 2019 and announced that they were expecting their first child together the following year.
At the time of the baby news, a source told Us Weekly that the two stars were “surprised, shocked and happy at the same time, as were their families.”

The Tron: Legacy actor added the caption: “Happy 2nd Birthday to My Beautiful Lil Boy Rhodes!!! You truly are ‘Where the roses grow!’ I love you more than anything my eyes will ever see!!!’ followed by three red heart emojis.
He shared photos of himself and his son enjoying a day at the lake. Another snap showed Garrett lifting Rhodes in the air as they posed for a snap down a long, empty road surrounded by grassy countryside.
The star also uploaded pictures of the toddler having fun on a wooden toy train and also showed his son admiring a guitar.

Though Emma and Garrett amicably went their separate ways in January, the pair remain focused on “co-parenting” and are “involved in each other’s lives because of their son,” a source tells E! news back then.
Shortly after their split, another insider told Us Weekly, “Garrett and Emma have an amazing parenting relationship. When he’s sober he’s a great guy and they’ve handled co-parenting very well.
Hedlund has struggled with addiction in the past, but reportedly “amplified” it after Rhodes was born. Shortly after their split in January, the actor was arrested for “public intoxication.”
The actress has since found a new romance in her life and has been in a relationship with actor Cody John since August this year. “Emma loves Cody’s personality. He’s really funny and they had a great time together,” a source told E! News.
