Emma Willis and her husband Matt have been appointed as the presenters of Love Is Blind UK after defeating stiff competition from other celebrity couples.
The hosting job marks the first time in more than a decade that the couple, who married in 2008 and have three children, have hosted a show together.
The show’s format, which first launched on Netflix in the US, sees couples “unseen” for the first time before anyone asks the question.
Following the announcement, Matt said: “I’m delighted to be presenting the UK version of Love Is Blind with Emma.” We love the show!
“It has been a dream to work together and fascinating to watch the process.” It has been truly amazing to experience this new project side-by-side and I can’t wait for people to join us on this journey.”

“Besides – you get double Willis! I loved working with Matt and we’re both obsessed with the show so it seemed like the perfect opportunity!’
In a promotional clip for the show, Emma and Matt sit in their pods when they first meet “unseen”.
Matt says to Emma, ”Hello Emma.” You have a beautiful voice. Is that Birmingham I can hear? It’s really nice, I like it a lot.’
Emma replies: “It’s so bizarre. If you come here for that purpose you are prepared and have probably been dating online for years and are so terminally ill.”
“But do you know what I realize? That we haven’t dated in almost 20 years and I don’t know where to start.’
Matt then asks, “So what brings you to Love Is Blind: UK?”

Netflix hasn’t given too many details, but the film is being produced by the same company as Married at First Sight UK, so drama is almost guaranteed.
Filming is reportedly set to begin later this year and the first season of Love is Blind UK is set to hit theaters in 2024.

Love is Blind UK follows the same format as the US version: a series of single men and women meet in purpose built pods in hopes of finding a connection.
Once engaged, the couples meet in person for the first time before embarking on a retreat to see if they can turn their emotional connection into a physical one.
Back home, the couples are moving in together and planning their wedding, which is just four weeks away. But will they say “I do”?
