Denis Villeneuve and the stars of Dune: Part Two caused a stir at a preview of the film in Mexico City on Tuesday evening.
Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Florence Pugh, Austin Butler and Josh Brolin were all present on the red carpet alongside the Quebec filmmaker.

Mexico City is the first major stop on the promotional tour for Dune: Part II, which has just begun. Denis Villeneuve and the stars of his film will soon be stopping off in Paris (February 12th) and London (February 15th), among others.

The highly anticipated second part of Dune was originally scheduled to release in November last year. However, due to strikes in Hollywood, the release was postponed to March 1st.

The first film in the saga, released in fall 2021, an adaptation of Frank Herbert's science fiction novel, grossed more than $400 million at the global box office and also won six Oscars.
