Four men were literally machine-gunned by a gunman in British Columbia, an incident captured on surveillance camera.
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) announced that on the night of Wednesday to Thursday at around 12:25 p.m. they intervened at the scene of a shooting in White Rock, a small town south of Vancouver, a few steps from the city Canadian -American border.
A video widely shared on social media shows a man storming into a yard where there are two vehicles. Once inside, the suspect opened fire with an automatic weapon, forcing one of the vehicles to flee. The suspect then runs after him and continues shooting while the vehicle hits an obstacle on the other side of the street.
Dozens of explosions can be heard and seen in about 20 seconds in the short video.

“It was a long shootout. It sounded like a machine gun. […] I stood up, looked outside and saw a man running down the street,” a local told Global News.
Police said the shooting left four men seriously injured, but no deaths were reported during the day.
“This incident appears to be targeted and there is no threat to the public at this time,” assured RCMP spokesperson Chantal Sears.
The suspects fled before police arrived and a burning vehicle was found in Surrey shortly after the shooting. Investigators tried on Thursday to find out whether there was actually a connection between these events.
