Promoter Eye of the Tiger Management (EOTTM) is in Mexico to hold a small gala in Cuernavaca on Friday during Cinco de Mayo and all the boxers were in limit at Thursday’s weigh-in.
This event will be an opportunity to see the promising Leïla Beaudoin back in action and to discover Camille Estephan’s new protégé, Venezuelan Albert Ramirez (15-0, 14 KOs). The latter secures the final ahead of Ricardo Adrian Luna (25-9-2, 16 KOs).

Ramirez weighed 178 pounds while his opponent weighed 179.4 pounds.
In the women’s super featherweight division, Beaudoin (9-0, 1 KO) and Mexico’s Elizabeth Chavez Espinoza (3-4-3, 1 KO) stepped on the scales at 131.6lbs. The boxer from Témiscouata will have a second fight in just under six weeks, she who triumphed on March 23rd at the Cabaret du Casino de Montréal.
