Ankara, November 20 (EFE). – Turkish President, Islamist Recep Tayyip Erdogan, today again accused Israel of committing war crimes in Gaza, saying that few Western countries, including Spain, do not ignore this “barbarism”.
“Israel kills children, babies and women every day and there is not the slightest reaction from any country, from Europe to the USA, with the exception of a few countries like Spain,” the head of state said in a speech to the media after a meeting with his Government.
Erdogan again accused Israel of being a terrorist state for carrying out punitive operations in Gaza that killed more than 11,000 people, according to Palestinian authorities, in retaliation for the Oct. 7 terrorist attacks when Hamas’ armed wing killed 1,200 People murdered people.
The Turkish president accused Israel of committing acts of “barbarism” and insisted that the siege of Gaza hospitals was an “atrocity.”
He also said that “the shame of the Holocaust (carried out by the Nazis against Jews during World War II) has gripped European countries and that Israel is using the Holocaust as a ‘shield’.”
He insisted that Israel has nuclear weapons, which is not officially recognized by that country.
“The possession of nuclear weapons cannot be kept secret,” Erdogan said, warning that if he remained silent now about the existence of nuclear weapons in Israel, “later it will not be possible to talk about it in any other country.”
“We will not allow the issue of nuclear weapons to be forgotten,” said the Turkish Islamist leader. EFE.
