Eric Adams visits Zero Bond’s private members club with Naomi Campbell as NYC battles rising crime

NYC Mayor Eric Adams partied with Naomi Campbell and singer Jon Batiste at his favorite private members’ club as crime levels continue to rise in the Big Apple.

Adams was spotted Wednesday night dining at Zero Bond, a private club he regularly attends, with supermodel Naomi Campbell, Grammy winner Jon Batiste and Hollywood agent Cade Hudson.

LionTree CEO Aryeh B. Bourkoff and Abiola Oke, CEO of Adisa Consultants, were also in attendance.

Campbell, who posted about the gathering on her Instagram account, said: “#Embracing the Big [Apple] What a welcome!!! and Encounters of Spirits..@nycmayor @aryehbourkoff @jonbatiste.’

The group reportedly discussed “everything from philanthropy to fashion and music” while having dinner at the exclusive NoHo hotspot, insiders told Page Six.

The model, who shared multiple images from the evening, added: “Thank you Cade Hudson for bringing us all together, Love & Adore you.”

The mayor seems to be partying hard as New York struggles with a 42 percent rise in crime. He was also pictured alongside Mary J. Blige at the grand opening of the Brooklyn Chophouse in Times Square on Monday.

Adams, a former police officer, has vowed to bring crime under control and reduce bloodshed across the city, a key focus of his mayoral campaign.

Adams ended his fourth month in office with crime and gun violence still rising.

During a Tuesday news conference, Adams vowed to crack down on transit crimes, which are up more than 60 percent, but also on lazy officers patrolling subway stations.

He made the plea when asked by a journalist about reports that several uniformed police officers were seen scrolling through phones while on duty guarding the city’s crime-ridden transportation network.

The former NYPD captain warned, “We’re going to start taking very aggressive action to make sure the police are patrolling our subway system and not patrolling their iPhone.”

“If you see it, send me a picture. I’ll go to that district the next day and see exactly what happens.

“Send me a shot. New Yorkers, look, send me a photo and I’ll be at that station.’ Adams’ spokesman urged anyone with photos to send them to his press office, whose email address is [email protected].

Adams said New Yorkers could look forward to a “visible difference in policing” in the coming weeks.

During Tuesday’s press conference, he also took aim at the city’s rising crime rates.

“New Yorkers have a right to be angry, a right to expect more — to feel safe, to be safe, to know that your city is looking after you, your family, and those in need,” Adams said in his speech afterwards His first 100 days in office were plagued by skyrocketing crime.

According to the latest statistics from the city’s police department, crime is up 21 percent from the same point in 2021, robberies are up nearly 47 percent, rapes are up nearly 15 percent, and the percentage of shooting victims is up eight percent. Homicides are down just 13 percent.

The mayor noted that hate crimes continue to target Asian, Muslim, Jewish, Sikh and LGBTQ+ New Yorkers.

“Our sister Michelle Go was pushed to her death in front of a train in an act of appalling hatred,” he said, adding that dozens more of “our New York neighbors” were killed at gunpoint.

Adams named several of the victims, including an aspiring rapper who was executed in cold blood, a 19-year-old girl who was killed while working the night shift in East Harlem, and two police officers who were shot dead on a phone call.

“Their names will forever echo in our hearts: Kristal, Jayquan, Kade, Sally, Angellyah. Detectives Wilbert Mora and Jason Rivera,” he said, noting that many of the victims’ families were at the speech Tuesday.

“I can only imagine the loss you are feeling and the pain you are living with,” he told them. “But I will not rest until we have clarified the circumstances that led to this loss. We will do whatever is necessary to keep all of our communities safe. You have my word, as a former cop, as a New Yorker, and as your mayor.”

Additionally, Adams will meet with NYPD commanders Saturday to brainstorm ideas on fighting crime in the city.

“I have an important meeting with all my commanders this weekend,” the mayor confirmed to the New York Post on Wednesday. “We’re going to sit down for several hours to get our summer plan in order and think about how we’re going to use the police.”

Adams reportedly asked all invited officers to bring three plans or ideas that could reduce crime in their patrol areas.

He will also review the latest statistics on crime, subpoenas, camp evictions and Civilian Complaint Review Board cases, as well as information on each Command’s Integrity Control Officer.

While Adams appears optimistic about the meeting, a source familiar with the meeting told the Post that commanders welcomed it as a “joke.”
