It’s nice to have a friend like Erin Andrews.
During an appearance on “TODAY” on Tuesday, the longtime Fox NFL reporter reflected on the moment she and her “Calm Down” podcast host Charissa Thompson got their pal Travis Kelce excited about Taylor Swift – something the couple recently enjoyed a PDA-filled weekend in New York.
“I left him alone, even though I’m going to bug him this week because I just want to check in,” said Andrews, who joked about being “the new Bumble,” a dating app.

“I obviously know him better than she does. He looks adorable.”
Kelce, 34, first expressed interest in Swift, 33, over the summer after he failed to give her a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it during their “Eras Tour” stop in Kansas City.
A short time later, Andrews and Thompson pleaded with Swift to give the Chiefs tight end a chance.
“Please try our friend Travis. He’s fantastic… Talk to us about it. Go on a date with this guy. “Do it for America,” Andrews said on an August episode of “Calm Down.”

Fast forward to October, and Kelce and Swift take the stage holding hands on consecutive nights.
“He radiates something,” Andrews said. “That’s a highlight, girls. He looks fantastic.”
Swift was first linked to Kelce in September, the same month her appearance at a Chiefs game sent the internet into a frenzy.
The pop megastar has since attended two more games and even wore a jacket from Andrews’ clothing line WEAR by Erin Andrews during the Chiefs’ 19-8 victory over the Broncos last Thursday.

“I’m a huge fan of him, working with him, he’s amazing,” Andrews gushed about Kelce, who also sent the Fox star’s newborn son, Mack, “an adorable baby gift out of the blue.”
“I was like, ‘Check, check and check,'” she said.
With the Chiefs hosting the Chargers on Sunday, it remains to be seen whether Swift will return to Arrowhead.
