(ANSA) — ROME, JUNE 21 — A Russian border patrol helicopter has violated Estonian airspace. This was announced today by the army of the Baltic country, which is a member of the EU and NATO. The dpa writes and specifies that the helicopter in question is a Mi-8 and entered Estonian airspace without permission on June 18. The Tallinn Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned the Russian ambassador. “Estonia regards this as an extremely serious and regrettable incident, which will undoubtedly cause further tensions and is totally unacceptable,” he said.
