EU adds Russia to list of tax havens

(ANSA) – ROME, FEBRUARY 14 – The European Union has added Russia to the list of tax havens. The list approved today by the Cabinet of Commerce Ministers now includes American Samoa, Anguilla, the Bahamas, British Virgin Islands, Costa Rica, Fiji, Guam, Marshall Islands, Palau, Panama, Samoa, Trinidad and Tobago, Turks and Caicos, US Virgin Islands and Vanuatu. For the EU, they are “non-cooperative jurisdictions for tax purposes”.
