(ANSA) — BRUSSELS, JUNE 04 — European liberals are preparing to distrust Ursula von der Leyen after the green light for the Pnrr of Poland. This was announced by Renew Europe Vice-President Luis Garicano at the party’s congress in Dublin.
“The Alde party – explains the Spanish politician – has just agreed to ask our Renew Group to promote a motion of no confidence from the European Commission if it pays out money to Poland under the Recovery Fund without conditions from the Court of Justice of the EU “to respect the rule of law and the Independence of the judiciary” are “satisfied” with Warsaw.
