Kevin Turen reportedly died of heart failure while driving his Tesla, his cause of death has been revealed.
Kevin, 44, known for his work on Euphoria and The Idol, died suddenly on November 12 while driving on a California highway, TMZ previously reported.
He was driving with his 10-year-old son when he had a medical emergency and his child had to pull the car – which was on autopilot – to the side of the highway before dialing 911.
As TMZ now reports, Kevin tragically died behind the wheel of the vehicle as a result of multiple heart problems.
The coroner reportedly gave the official cause of death as acute cardiac dysfunction and hypertrophic heart disease, while coronary artery disease was also added as another contributing factor.

It was previously reported that Kevin suffered a medical emergency while driving his Tesla, forcing his 10-year-old son to take the wheel and get them to safety.
Kevin’s father Edward and his friend Michael Heller told TMZ that he was driving his little boy home from a tennis tournament at the time.
They explained that Kevin’s car was on autopilot and his son had to pull the car to the side of the road before calling 911.
Edward confirmed his son’s death in a statement released to Deadline, saying, “Kevin was so incredibly special, this world will be less without him.”
Jay Penske, CEO of PMC and close personal friend of Kevin, also released a statement.
“Despite his many successes in Hollywood, his greatest passion was his family and friends,” his statement began.
“He was so proud of his children.” “He and his wife Evelina were determined that their children would grow up with great values and that they would make a difference in the world,” he added.

“Our collective hearts break for her and we all feel such a deep sense of loss,” he continued.
“We will miss Kevin so much, and this city lost one of its brightest rising stars today,” he concluded.
Kevin was born in Manhattan and studied cinema at Columbia University before starting his career.
He made his production debut in 2005 with the indie film Wassup Rockers from director Larry Clark.
He then produced a number of feature films, including Operation Endgame, which was written by Euphoria creator Sam Levinson.
His other feature film producing credits include “Arbitrage” with Richard Gere, “All Is Lost” with Robert Redford and two other Levinson films, “Assassination Nation” and “Malcolm & Marie.”

Following news of Turen’s death, tributes poured in from across Hollywood along with rapper Kid Cudi tweet that the producer was “a great man and a mate.”
“We had a lot of plans for what we would do together. Pray for his family and everyone else who knew him. “We’ll miss you, brother,” he said.
British producer Cassian Elwes said the producer was “a good friend and a true indie filmmaker” and added: “I’m so sad.” Hold your loved ones. Life is precious and fleeting.’

He also tweeted: “What people don’t realize is that Hollywood is actually a small town.” At some point everyone meets everyone. The indie film circle of people who regularly make indie films is even smaller.
“We all know each other very well because we are kindred spirits.” “We lost a very important person in our circle tonight.”
Oscar-nominated producer Lynette Taylor said his death was “absolutely tragic” and “a terrible loss.”
Kirsten Sage Coleman, a makeup artist who worked on both Euphoria and The Idol, wrote on her Instagram Story, “That sounds great.” Sending all the love to those who need it.
A tribute from one of Turen’s friends, Kirsten Smith, described the producer as “bringing excitement, energy, warmth and laughter to every encounter.”
“He knew more about movies than anyone I’ve ever met, but he wasn’t a know-it-all – he was a sharer of everything.” “He loved sharing movies and great meals and his friends with each other,” she said.
“He leaves behind his lifelong love Evelina and their two sons, and he leaves behind a lasting legacy of beautiful, groundbreaking cinema that he fought to create… and a host of friends, all devastated.”
“We love you, Kevin. And we can’t accept losing you, because you were always there for all of us, with bright eyes and that huge, wonderful smile. I love you, Kevin.’

Kevin’s wife Evelina is best known for her starring roles in films such as That Awkward Moment, The Box and Arbitrage.
Kevin’s death is unfortunately the second tragedy to strike HBO’s Euphoria this year, following the tragic death of star Angus Cloud.
The actor, who played the lovable drug dealer Fezco in the popular series, died aged just 25 as a result of an accidental overdose of various drugs.
Cloud had just returned from Ireland where he had to bury his father, and the death took a harsh toll on the actor.
